Happy Birthday Reed Doughty

Going through a lot

Last scheduled Redskins birthday until next week, please join The Curly R in wishing Washington Redskins safety Reed Doughty a happy birthday, along with defensive end Erasmus James and faullback Nehemiah Broughton, Reed's birthday was two days ago on Tuesday, Election Day, Reed turned 26.

Reed has dealt with a lot in his short career, elevated to an active role in 2006 with the failure of Adam Archuleta, thrust into a starting role in 2007 with the death of Sean Taylor, Reed's young son has had a host of problems in his short life, we found out over the summer that Reed is functionally deaf, he lost his starting job to a dynamo of a rookie in Chris Horton and then went on injured reserve last month with nerve problems in his back and legs. Reed is easy to like and most Redskins fans will join me in hoping Reed can come back next season and contribute to this team.

Happy birthday Reed!
