Tuesday Injury Report

We put Eric Frampton on the list as a courtesy

Some quick news on Redskins injuries, I will update this in the morning if there is another report.

Tuesday 10am update: as it happens Jason La Canfora's piece in the WaPo is on this very topic. The significant detail this piece adds from the others is that Phillip Daniels is the least likely to play this week against the Packers, he likely will be replaced by Demetric Evans.

References are from Redskins Insider, DC Sports Bog and Covering the Redskins, hat tip to Hogs Haven.

Santana Moss who sat out of the Lions game with a groin practiced yesterday and will be evaluated day to day. My guess is he will be available next week and they will try not to use him if they can get away with it.

Antwaan Randle El who was on a tear with seven receptions for 100 yards before pulling a hamstring at the end of the first half and was carted off the field is apparently ok as well. Guess Jason Campbell needs to find that balance between going to Antwaan on every play and going to Antwaan on every other play.

Marcus Washington who caused a Jon Kitna fumble at the end of the first half went out of the game with a hammy and was replaced in the second half by Randall Godfrey who had two tackles is fine, I am guessing the heat contributed to these pulls.

Phillip Daniels who also caused a Jon Kitna fumble had a pretty graphic injury, there was no blood or anything but his arm was rolled on at the sideline and he separated his shoulder, he needed no narcotics to get through the night which is as much a comment on society as it is on Phillip.

Fred Smoot hurt his shoulder in a collision with Sean Taylor late in the fourth quarter, Loveboat Freddie is spinning some story about how he is like Martin Riggs from Lethal Weapon, he can just pop it in and out. This same Sports Bog piece also has Loveboat Freddie reporting on Clinton's injury that kept Clinton out of the first quarter for about a half dozen plays before coming back to the huddle late, missing the playcall and muffing the direct snap from center Casey Rabach.

All in all a good injury report this early in the week considering how bad the injury bug has bitten this early in the season.

Also in other news Kedric Golston was a healthy scratch and we still have not learned why he was not active.
