Prologue

So I read on Thursday that a 17 year old girl was suing Michael Vick's brother Marcus Vick for 6.3 million dollars for sexual battery of a minor. They had a two year relationship between January 2004 and December 2005 and that

Vick wanted her to have sex with other men and contends that Vick offered her alcohol and marijuana several times.

Let us get in the wayback machine and visit another time January 2004, when Marcus Vick, then a 20 year old college quarterback, bought beer for and provided porn to three underage girls, and allegedly had sex with one of them, a 15 year old. He was convicted of contributing to the delinquency of a minor in May, but not the sex part. I'm guessing the 15 year old wouldn't testify.

Before Virginia Tech had even had the chance to decide what if anything to do with Marcus, he was arrested in July 2004 for reckless driving and possesion of weeeeeeeed. Three days later, the school suspended him for the entire 2004 season. He apologized, was reinstated for the 2005 season, which started with Marcus flipping the bird, a la brother Michael, at WVU fans, and ended with him stomping an opponent in the Gator Bowl and being booted from school. His reaction was predictably pompous

It's not a big deal. . . . I'll just move to the next level, baby.

Three days after the school disowned him, he declared for the NFL draft and the next day was arrested for waving a pistol at some teenage kids at McDonald's. Said the kids hurt his feelings. He wound up undrafted (Wilbert Montgomery is of the mind that Atlanta should have taken him as the perfect backup to brother Michael, but as it turns out, Jim Mora Jr wants out of town so fast that Marcus was obviously never in question) and was promoted in October from Miami's practice squad as a receiver, where he has no catches for no yards.

The girl suing him is the teenager he banged in January 2004, whom he kept seeing even after he agreed in September 2004 that he would stay way from minors. If the breakup was December and the bowl game was played in Jaunary, that means he kicked her to the curb before finals knowing that he was turning pro and didn't need the ex-bag of dragging a 16 year old into public. Look how horndog Gavin Newsom has handled a 20 year old girlfriend in San Francisco. That the girl's grandmother is a plaintiff tells me the mother would just soon this go away but grammie was there when the girl was ready to talk about it. Gods bless grandmothers.
