Yet another recent Redskins birthday, please join The Curly R in wishing Washington Redskins defensive tackle Erasmus James a happy birthday, he turned 26 yesterday, election day. Wonder who he voted for.

In May of this year the Redskins traded a conditional seventh round pick to the Vikings for Erasmus, a mid first round pick in 2005 who has had major knee surgery and had a hard time getting back. The trade was conditional on Erasmus making the team, with the Phillip Daniels and Alex Buzbee gone for the year and now Jason Taylor useless, and Redskins netting ten draft picks anyway, this was a good deal for the team, I hope Erasmus can spend 2008 getting back into shape and be ready for 2009.
