Happy Birthday Cornelius Griffin

The meat in the middle

Please join me in wishing a happy birthday to Redskins defensive tackle Cornelius Griffin, Cornelius, pronounced cor-nell-yus as I have learned, turned 32 yesterday.

Cornelius is a nine year veteran, he has spent his entire career in the NFC Beast, after being drafted by the New York Giants in the second round in 2000 out of Alabama, Cornelius came to Washington with Joe Gibbs' return in 2004. He has been a steady starter in the middle of the defensive line and has provided stability at the position as the team brings along a number of young players at the other tackle position, he has been good for those around him.
