The entire hapless Redskins organization here is Daffy Duck, running into the same predictable problem again and again, then coming up with the wrong solution. Those of us Redskins fans that are over the event horizon and not still anchored to hope are Porky Pig, watching in bemusement, laughing like a mental patient.

If Jon Gruden is a trial balloon, consider it a big fat FAIL, Gruden is exactly the type of carpetbagger that would live with Dan Snyder and Vinny Cerrato, eke us out a ten win campaign once over four seasons then get himself fired right after signing a fat new contract.

He is nothing like Mike Shanahan who would demand control to rebuild this team from the ground up, and that issue of control is why we will never ever see Mike Shanahan in Washington coaching the Redskins unless there are structural changes.
