Pick: Buffalo. As it has been shall it ever be: the Cardinals defense will wilt.
Result: Cardinals. Arizona has a pretty good offense innit.

KC @ CAR (-9.5)
Pick: Panthers. I am staying with Carolina another week, I think they are the class of the NFC South.
Result: Panthers. They friggin blanked the Chiefs, they may suck but that's an NFL team man.

CHI (-3.5) @ DET
Pick: Bears. Detroit does not respond to Matt Millen's firing with a win, they respond by flailing harder.
Result: Bears. It would be so awsum to have the Lions on our schedule this year. Oh wait.

CIN @ DAL (off the board = straight up even)
Pick: Cowboys. This week's lead pipe lock.
Result: Cowboys. Looked tougher than it had to be.

TB @ DEN (-3)
Pick: Broncos. Apparently Jay Cutler is better than I think he is.
Result: PUSH. A whole 93 yards by Jeff Garcia, you got a gem there Jon,

ATL @ GB (off the board = straight up even)
Pick: Packers. Hurt and with Brett Favre's shadow still over him, Aaron Rodgers comes through.
Result: Falcons. Aaron gets credit for playing hurt.

IND (-3) @ HOU
Pick: Colts. Houston is not even good enough to beat an Indianapolis team that is playing to get healthy for 2009.
Result: Colts. Houston is the Almost Guys.

PIT @ JAX (-4)
Pick: Jaguars. Pittsburgh is just not that impressive.
Result: Steelers. Meh, we'll see in a month.

NE (-3) @ SF
Pick: 49ers. I think the shit may be hitting the fan in New England.
Result: Patriots. Yeah it was an upset pick.

SEA @ NYG (-7)
Pick: Giants. If that line were larger I would wonder, the Giants play well off the bye.
Result: Giants. Wow Seattle looks like a bunch of slackers.

WAS @ PHI (-5.5)
Pick: Redskins. Because 4-1 sounds nice.
Result: Redskins. Philadelphia is confiscating all your Zorn.

SD @ (-6.5) @ MIA
Pick: Chargers. Single wing? Single chicken wing.
Result: Dolphins. True stat: Miami has now won six in a row versus San Diego.

TEN (-3) @ BAL
Pick: Titans. Just the better team right now.
Result: PUSH. Can't even come up with a witty comment.

Pick: Saints. A line that small, take the home team.
Score: 23-13 Saints.
Result: Vikings. A roller coaster of a game.
