Coulda been
New Dolphins coach Cam Cameron and new Dolphins quarterback Trent Green were only together in Washington for one year in 1995. Cam was Norval Turner's quarterbacks coach and Trent was the Redskins third string quarterback, buried behind Gus Frerotte and Heath Shuler. Before the 1996 season Cam left to become the head coach of the University of Indiana. Trent hung around through the 1998 season when injuries to Gus and Jeff Hostetler (yes he was a Redskin) pushed him onto the field. He rocked.
But after Jack Kent Cooke died and threw the Redskins into turmoil Trent wanted to stay with the Redskins but got an offer he could not refuse with the St. Louis Rams and off he went. The rest is NFL history.
Now they are back together, Cam is the Little Norval and Trent turns out to be the Quarterback Norval Wishes He Had Turned To Earlier.
I'm happy to see Trent still playing, welcome back to Washington and as soon as the Redskins kick the shit out of you I hope you go off and have a great season.
