That's Two

Say his name three times and he will appear

A second pundit today has invoked Mark Rypien in discussion of Jason Campbell, this time Washington Post columnist Tom Boswell:
Gibbs lives by power running and killing air strikes; the two complement each other. For him, a quarterback who doesn't strike fear at 50 yards is next to useless. Mark Rypien and Doug Williams did few things wonderfully. But both could hit a fly with a pass from half-a-field away. And both won Super Bowls.
Does anyone else see a conventional wisdom being born in Washington?
Hail to the Redskins.

Super Bowl 26 MVP Mark Rypien on the cover of Sports Illustrated from here. It should be noted that Mark Rypien has one of the top 'Fun' ratings of any quarterback ever in the NFL, as formulated by the gurus at Pro Football Reference. It certainly was never boring watching Mark Rypien play.
